At Japanese Starbucks

There are bunch of Starbucks in Japan too, and the menu and what they have in the store is just like the US ones. It was boring for us and we did not order anything, but found our favorite Starbucks coffee, "Kati Kati".

 

Japanese McDonald's, they sure have different stuff!

McDonald's around the world often have different stuff, but Japanese McDonald's sure have MANY different stuff!

Since it's the World Cup season, they had "German Burger", which was schnitzel burger, and "Brazil Burger", which was a barbecued burger. Since Jared knew what an authentic schnitzel tastes like, he wasn't too impressed. The also had "French McFlurry", which was cream brulee flavor, and "Belgian McFlurry", which was Belgian chocolate flavor. They also had "Italian Risotto Balls", which were rice balls, tomato ball and squid ink ball. 

Wish American McDonald's do fun stuff like this!!

Azamino (Sagamihara) Park Visit

We visited our favorite park, Azamino (Sagamihara) Park in Sagamihara-city. I was worried if grandma can walk with us all the way, but her legs were okay.

First we headed for the park zoo. Since I do not like the idea of zoo (such as keeping animals at such small confinements), I did not take photos of animals too much.

There was a cute pony, who had the same look of Keeghan.

There were carrot sticks in the cup available for feeding the pony, for 100 yen.

We stopped by the building, where there's a parrot in the cage. I did not take a pic, I felt sorry for the parrot. The pic is outside the building buying awesome Japanese drink.

We passed by the bird world, a huge enclosed area that many different kind of birds are flying around. We did not go inside but took a pic outside the premises. Jared was too embarrassed to participate.

Then headed to the little play area, where W&J used to play. They were the only teenagers there enjoying the kiddie stuff.

Around the park, there were bunch of Hydranza everywhere. Hydranza is a symbolic flower plants of Japan for rainy season.

 

We went through the huge open area to get to the Japanese garden area/European style building are. and the tree house. On the way, there were beautiful maples and interesting trees.

Come to the old Japanese style building area.

Then it changes to the European style building area.

Then comes to the Japanese garden.

 

After you come out of the area, you'll come to the tree house area.

Since it has many stairs, grandma decided to wait for us on the ground. I thought she'll be sitting down on a chair, but William thought she will be exercising. He was right.

The day was mostly overcast, but sunshine started to come through the trees. It was very pretty.

You'll come to the huge grassy area after this, where many people have dogs. The area is surrounded by beautiful flowers. These flowers were taken care of by many volunteers.

Time to go home, on the way to the parking lot.
